The song was written by John Newman and Piers Agget in a bedroom and taken to a small studio in Hackney. Rudimental, Amir Amor, Kesi Dryden, Leon Rolle, and Mike Spencer produced the track. Mike Spencer also served as the mixing engineer, and Stuart Hawkes was the mastering engineer.
